We Love Our Neighborhood!

During the month of January, our students have been learning about places in our neighborhoods , and the people who help our community. Below, you'll see our Butterfly and Porcupine classes on one of our walks around town.

We have learned about many key places near our school including a grocery store, a police station, and a fire station. As we walk to each place, we discuss why it an important part of our community, and what community helpers (such as police officers) can be found inside.
