Internship: International Preschool Teacher / EFL Teacher

Duration: 1 to 3 months* (one time extension possible)
Nationalities accepted: all (both Japanese + foreign applicants accepted)
English Language Requirement: native English speakers / Japanese teachers of English

Other pre-requisites: Current university student or University graduate

Fees:

Application Fee: 5,000 yen (one-time)
Program fees: 5,000 yen / week

Hours per week: (20 – 25)
Housing: Share house = (paid for by intern) 
Lunch: Provided

Teaching internships in Nagoya

Requirements:

  • University graduate or student
  • Native level English skills
  • Dedication to early childhood education
  • Humility and a genuine desire to learn
  • Good people skills, a high EQ

Typical Day's Activities:

  • Assist teachers with classroom / curriculum preparation
  • Attend teacher meetings to talk about best teaching practices
  • Help supervise and interact with students in school lobby
  • Observe and team teach in 50 minute lessons
